How to organize and host an event at Schweibenalp?
An Event could be a seminar, workshop, gathering, course or a retreat.
1. General conditions
The seminar leaders are responsible for the content and implementation of the seminar themselves. The acquisition of participants and promotion of the event are also mainly the responsibility of the seminar leader or the organizer.
The Schweibenalp rents out the seminar rooms and also provides food and accommodation (full board) for all seminar participants including the seminar leader.
2. Costs/ income
The seminar leaders collect the seminar costs directly from the participants.
The seminar costs can be determined by the seminar leaders themselves.
The seminar leaders make a deposit (according to the terms and conditions for seminar leaders) to reserve the seminar room for the desired period. The deposit is paid back in full after the seminar or, if necessary, transferred to the following seminar.
The participants and the seminar leaders pay Schweibenalp for food and accommodation.
Each seminar leader (as well as co-seminar leaders and assistants) and each participant pays a seminar room rental fee of 20 CHF per day to Schweibenalp.
If the minimum number of participants (including seminar leader and participants) in the respective seminar room is not reached, the seminar leader must pay for the missing seminar room rental (20 CHF per missing participant per day)

3. Rent seminar rooms
Flexible basic equipment is available for each event room:
Blankets, meditation cushions, meditation mats, yoga mats., Yoga blocks, yoga belts
Massage table, chairs, tables
Music system, microphones, mixer, musical instruments (piano)
Flipchart, projector
Seminar room Frieden (240 m²)
Minimum 25 participants (located in the seminar house)
The large Frieden event room has a wonderful, octagonal shape. The harmonizing architecture based on Feng Shui and harmonic principles is an energetic support for your event. With several large windows, the room is not only very bright, but also wonderfully permeable to the powerful nature surrounding it. The interior of the room with a sprung floor, a mobile stage and technical equipment for concerts and theater performances is very comfortable and flexible. The terrace extension enables exercises or staying outdoors, as well as performances in the open-air arena.
Equipment: Mobile stage, audio equipment for playback and live concerts, projection technology, modern lighting technology with stage lighting, central control of all technical equipment, translation room, simultaneous translation system can be rented if required.
Seminar room Licht (86 m²)
Minimum 10 participants (located in the guest house)
The seminar room light is located in our guest house. The guest house dates back to the early days of Swiss mountain tourism and has its own charm and was used as a ballroom in the early days of mountain tourism. Wooden panels on the walls and parquet floors are stylish witnesses to this time.
Seminar room Erde (40 m²)
Minimum 6 participants (located in the seminar house)
The Erde seminar room is in the same building as the Frieden seminar room, but one floor below. It has a separate entrance on the side of the seminar building, but can also be reached via a staircase from the main entrance lounge. In front of the glazed outside door there is a small outdoor seating area with lawn, surrounded by hedges and bushes. The room has a sink. The room can be furnished with yoga mats, meditation mats, cushions or even chairs and tables on request.
