In our daily lives, we are constantly mentally occupied with sensory impressions, information, developments, and various activities.
This retreat offers the opportunity to completely withdraw from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a few days, to turn our attention inward, and to explore our own inner dimensions. We can learn to understand ourselves better and find access to the transformative and healing power of silence.
Silence inspires
Silence is creative
In silence we find peace
As soon as the restlessness of the mind ceases, we perceive the sound of silence.
Contents:

• Meditative Hatha practice
• Contemplative walking
• Guided meditations
• Time for personal practice focus
• Deep relaxation, subtle body practice,
Steps to Yoga Nidra

`In the beginning was silence. The silence became a thought; a thought became a word. When we return to silence, it is not a state of being comatose. It is returning to the Mother of all words. In such a state of silence there is absolute pleasure. `

John Sellinger
John Sellinger has been involved in yoga since early childhood, having practiced first under the guidance of his parents. While travelling the world continuously with his family from the age of one-year, yoga meditation and philosophy became a unifying force for them. In his late teens, he began serious and regular practice of meditation, which had a great impact on his life as a student in the medical field.
From 2010 until recently, he lived in Rishikesh, India, in the ashram of his family’s spiritual guide, Swami Veda Bharati. During this time, he had the privilege of practicing under the guidance of many renowned teachers, with a focus on meditation and silence.
