The Living Body
A two-day immersive retreat in the Swiss mountains exploring the moving body through touch, movement, witnessing, poetry, and nature-based artistic practice. Together we immerse into bones, flesh, fluids, and cells — studying the body as a living form in continuous relation with landscape, matter, and others.
Drawing from contact improvisation, instant composition, somatic practices, and deep attention to nature, we investigate bones, form, stones, and relational presence through dance, stillness, touch, and the crafting of living compositions. From structure, sculptures and form to fluidity and the passage of water, the retreat follows a journey of sensing, hearing, and seeing — meeting the river as a thread of continuity and life.
Participants will engage in practices of movement, touch, witnessing, listening, poetry-making, and collective creation, moving toward shared artistic expressions emerging from the experience itself.
The retreat is open to artists, movers, dancers, bodyworkers, and curious humans seeking embodiment, creativity, sensory awareness, and deeper connection through the living body.
