Green Phoenix is a platform to support the imminent and mandatory "system change" to a new and healthy culture on all levels and in all fields of human life. It was initiated at Centre of Unity Schweibenalp in 2010.
Green Phoenix researches questions of the four quadrants of Ecology, Economy, Community and Consciousness/Spirituality as well as supporting deep and effective communication between communities, experts and the public. After five consecutive years of successful conferences, Green Phoenix adapted its format to meet current experiences and necessities by serving thereafter as a more intimate think tank and vessel for in-depth exchange among a smaller group of participants from communities internationally.
The aim is to offer a platform for the meeting of the community of communities, in coordination with GEN (the Global Ecovillage Network).
Since 2015, representatives of European and some non-European communities and networks meet annually in an intimate setting to share deeply and explore their most important questions. The process of those meetings nourishes the connection between the communities, builds trust among participants, deepens their relationships, and supports the connecting to an inner space where something new and healing can happen. It helps to achieve a broader understanding of what is happening in the movement and network, to arrive at new insights and develop new ideas and collaborations.
As ecovillages and communities, we are concerned about the global situation, climate emergency and human crisis and want to make a contribution to the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible. At Green Phoenix we also explore what our contributions as ecovillages and communities are and how we can leverage our impact together as a network.
Accommodation and meals (including vegetarian full board):
Single room: CHF 123.-
Double room: CHF 97.-
Multi-bed room: CHF 88.-
Mattress in dormitory (with own sleeping bag) CHF 45.--
Tent/ Camper: CHF 45.-
Special prices for accommodation and meals for young people up to the age of 35 (including vegetarian full board):
Single room: CHF 123.- (normal price)
Double room: CHF 97.- (normal price)
Multi-bed room CHF 70.-
Mattress in dormitory (with own sleeping bag) CHF 45.--
Tent/ Camper CHF 30.-
All prices exclude tax fees of CHF 3.10 per day.
To register for Green Phoenix please CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS first and afterward fill in the registration form below by clicking on "Anmeldung Seminar"
1) Fill out all of your contact details
2) Tell us your prefered accommodation in the box "Zimmerwunsch". For example single room, double room, multibedroom, tent etc...

3A) OLD MEMBERS
If you have taken part in Green Phoenix already, please write "OLD MEMBER" in the box "zusätzliche details" and also answer the following questions:
- Whats the name of your community or network?
- Will you be accompanied by any children requiring companionship during the meeting sessions? If so, please list their name(s) and age(s).
3B) NEW MEMBERS
If you are registering/ applying for the first time for a green phoenix, please write "NEW MEMBER" in the box "zusätzliche details" and also answer the following questions:
- Please include the name, address and website (if available) of the community you represent.
- Please briefly describe your community.
In particular, we are interested in the age and size of your community, its relationship to GEN (if any).
- Please briefly describe the process or intentions surrounding your community's wish to join Green Phoenix.
- How long have you lived in community? Which one(s)? Please feel free to add any relevant details about the nature of your participation in community (past or present), such as specific roles, responsibilities or focus areas, and any interactions or relationship with GEN.
- Would you be accompanied by any children requiring companionship during the meeting sessions? If so, please list their name(s) and age(s).
